Elsa M. Lankford is an interdisciplinary artist who works with sound, images, words, and music. She is a professor in the Radio/Audio track of the Electronic Media and Film (EMF) department at Towson University.
Brandy Baker is a digital media artist living in Baltimore City who has a BA in English Literature from the University of Baltimore. Baker has studied art, photography, and film at the Santa Fe Photography Workshops, Maryland Institute College of Art, and Towson University. Her experimental short, "Both" will be shown next month at the Baltimore Womens' Film Festival.
Baker's newest currently untitled work will premiere at the Media Sprout Festival. It deals with the psychological dramas of being in both front and behind the camera.

Kids on the Hill
Jon Krintz
Jon will be premiering his machinima/sound design work on what it’s like for a video game character to be a hero.
Kids on the Hill is a community-based organization that teaches young people the power of civic engagement, creating change, and art and media. They will be showing a recent work created about the Gwynns Falls Trail.
“Velocipede” (2007)
The winner of the Mid-Atlantic Emmy Awards for best documentary, this creation of Jason Stefaniak, Jeff O’Dell, and Justin Kanner, recent graduates of Towson University’s Electronic Media & Film (EMF) Department documents the Velocipede Bike Project, a bicycle cooperative in Baltimore.

Kat will be showing a short video entitled “Pieces of a Dream.”
BRANCHES
The participants in the 2008 BRANCHES program, a partnership between the Parks & People Foundation and the Baltimore Department of Recreation and Parks. High school aged youth participating in the program used what they learned throughout the summer about invasive species and park maintenance, and their own brand of humor to make short PSA videos.
